Growing so fast!

I took both boys to the Dr. today for their well visits
(Samuel's 3 year, and Cole's 4 month).
Samuel weighs in at 27 1/2 lbs and is 35" tall. The Dr. said that he's a little on the small side, but he's very healthy and very smart (that's not me bragging - the Dr. actually said it!). Samuel wasn't very happy about his flu shot and absolutely couldn't walk on that leg because it hurt too much. You should have seen me walking out of the Dr. office: Cole in the carrier in one arm, diaper bag slung over my shoulder, and Samuel in the other arm. Phew... it's a wonder I don't lose this "baby weight" faster! Oh - I might have to cut down on my eating too... right, right :)
Anyway, after we met Dad & Zac for chicken and fries for lunch, the leg made a miraculous recovery, and Samuel was able to play in the play area at Chick-fil-a with Mr. Zac.
Cole is getting so big! He weighed in at 15 lb 14.5 oz (OMG), and 25 1/8" tall. He's doing all of the things a 4 month old should and is doing much better with his reflux (on prevacid). We'll continue the prevacid for a few more months. I'm still milk and soy free, and the Dr. recommends that I stay that way until Cole is at least 9 months old. At that point I'll be allowed to add things back in very slowly to see how he reacts. I miss cheese, but I don't really care about the rest of dairy to be honest. I never was a milk drinker. Some of the foods I'm REALLY looking forward to:
Pizza, a reuben (with the cheese), meatballs (I make them with parm), omlettes, queso, etc.
Just a little longer. He's so worth it.
